We are organising a freestyle event @ Chill Factore to raise funds for Christies Hospital in Manchester. The event takes place on the 27th June 7pm - late + is £35 for 4 hours riding, tickets can be pre-booked through Chill Factor. All prizes that have been donated will be entered into a raffle, you would be mad not to buy a few tickets as prizes are that good. Prizes include a snowboard, boots, bindings, helmets, cameras, perfume, outerwear, wallets, trainers, a Volcom Jamie Lynne signature hoody (the only one in the uk) a camera, vouchers + loads of goodie bags, There will be 08/09 demo kit to test, live DJ'S, a band (TBC), free nibbles, drinks promotions + more, so even if you don't fancy riding then just come down for a good night.
We have re-located our store in Xscape, Castleford and are now further down the mall opposite Ellis Brigham. It is a much bigger, brighter store and we will soon be opening the skate park, date to be confirmed shortly. The old store is currently open as a sale outlet and will close on the 15th June but there are some great bargains to be had, but you will have to hurry as there is only a week left!!

Not really had time to update the website as we have been so busy with the new store, so apologies if the site says we have things that we have sold out of, unfortunately we are still working the old fashioned way with stock checks the paper and pen way! Finally got openend in the new Manchester snowdome, we have been open for a week so hopefully all teething problems are out of the way. We will be having a good selection of snowboards in store to demo, hopefully the rest of the demo boards will be arriving shortly, at the moment we have Rome boards in. We are waiting for K2 + Burton Coalition. Same rules apply bring the biccies and we will make the cuppas!!

It has been a very busy couple of weeks in Subvert. Most of the hardwear has been delivered, we are expecting a delivery of Burton Coalition at the end of this month. We received Grenade gloves, Nikita is arriving next week. Volcom snow arrived in the last couple of days. This week we have also had Neff beanies, Dragon Goggles: not had chance to get them online yet but they will be shortly.
We are also supporting our friends at More Mountain this season as there will be a Subvert Slushy Social on the 13th April, which is exactly what it says it is, so come out and join us for the last week of the season in top class accomodation

It has been another busy week in Subvert. We have had a Vans boot delivery as well as a delivery from Ride Snowboards, Ride Bindings + K2 Snowboards.
Well we have finally got through the 42 boxes of Burton that arrived, as well as new stock from WESC, Hurley, DC, Adio + Dickies. Some very nice gear from Burton, if you are looking for new bindings we have got the C60, the New E.S.T. Missions, Custom, Ladies Escapade + Ladies Lexa's in. We have the SL10 boot as well as the Ion, Hail and the Ladies Sapphire. We have received one board which is the Ladies Stigma and all colours in the Wheelie gig bags and the Wheelie Double Deckers. We have also received the new Hi-Fi helmet as well as the Trace and the Trace 0.5 [for the youth of today].
The winter season is approaching! We have 4 pallets (not boxes) of NEW Burton product arriving on Wednesday. Can't wait to see what will arrive. We will keep you informed.
We have had a new drop of Skullcandy headphones including the MFM Headest with a built in MP3 player. Just so you all know in advance there will be an open day at Ski-Rossendale on Sunday 7th October. There will be plenty of demo boards to test out, Subvert will also have a stall there selling goodies and it will be the Sub-Element comp. More details will be posted shortly.
