Burton Genesis Step On Binding 2025
Step On®︎ bindings are ONLY compatible with Step On®︎ boots.
A step up from the basic Step On, the Burton Step On Genesis Snowboard Bindings are a bit stiffer, adding performance to their outstanding comfort and ease of use, offering an intuitive boot-to-binding connection for riders seeking convenience and performance and the simplest, most straightforward setup on the mountain. Three connection points, two at the toe and one at the heel, deliver unmatched simplicity, security, and board control. Toe hooks 2.0 offer responsive entry and a quick-release lever on the hi-back makes for a clean exit. It's universally compatible with all major snowboard mounting systems, including 4x4, 3D®, and The Channel®.
Flex:
- Medium/Stiff Flex: Helps with quick, technical maneuvers, even at high speeds. Great for all-mountain carving, powerful freeriding and charging through the terrain park.
Baseplate

Single Component 30% Short-Glass / Nylon Composite Baseplate: A high‑performance blend featuring ramped up strength in a medium‑flexing package. One material throughout creates consistent response and feel for all-terrain domination.
- Re:Flex™ Binding System: The minimized, cored base-plate with Living Hinge™ disc reduces the weight and footprint of the binding, while also bending freely for a more natural flex.
- Re:Flex™ FullBED Cushioning System: Offers full underfoot cushioning that maximizes comfort while minimizing fatigue. Anchored to the baseplate, the stealth trap door design makes it easy to access the mounting hardware.

Toe Hooks 2.0: Located on the front of each boot, toe hooks keep the toes securely fastened in the Step On binding.
Highback
- FLAD™: The higher the Forward Lean angle on your hi-backs, the quicker you heel-edge turns. Crank them forward for icy hits in the pipe or back them off for jibbing. Tool-free and micro-adjustable for easy fine-tuning and maximum angle options.
- Step On® Binding System: Step On® boot-to-binding system uses two points of connection by the toe utilizing Toe Hooks 2.0 that feature a spring hinge that flexes to maintain closure and provide an easy entrance and exit and one connection point by the heel for increased boot and binding response.

Kickback Hammock: A lighter weight upgrade to the heel hammock, this two-piece heel hugging hiback is literally suspension in a hiback. Dynamic interaction between an internal spring and rubber over molded hammock results in increased response and reduced vibration while your heel is cradled in complete suspension.
