Ride Shadowban Snowboard 2025No longer do you need to have a board just for park, pow, or groomers, because the 2025 Ride Shadowban is a perfect all mountain, directional twin that can be trusted any day of the season. The mellow flex pattern, with its directional twin camber profile charges hard on groomers while being soft enough to not be too aggressive, but is still solid underfoot enough to stomp landings in the jump line in the park and the 19mm setback pattern gives you all the additional float you could ever need when chasing that perfect, deep powder day.
Flex:
- Mellow: The soft flex allows you to press and play with ease, while also making the board easier to control.
Profile:
- Directional Twin Standard Camber: Rocker on the nose and the tail of the board keeps it forgiving and fun, while the camber under your feet gives you stability, pop, and strong edge hold when the snow is hardpacked.
Shape:
- Directional Twin: Constructed the same from nose to tail, this board will ride switch and regular equally well for controlled jumps, landings, turns, and spins, with a 0.5" set back to give you a boost in float and forward-facing performance.
Core:
- Performance Core: Sustainable Aspen wood combined with Bamboo and Paulownia for a snappy lightweight board that balances weight and strength perfectly.
- Double Impact Plates: Two plates inserted underfoot take vibration out of your ride and add extra durability.
- Pre-Cured Glass: Pre-cured fiberglass optimises glass to resin ratio to create the most consistent flex pattern to provide the highest level of stability and control.
- Carbon Array 3 Laminates: 3 Widespread carbon stringers gather rider input, which is channelled through to the opposite contact point for maximum board control. Basically, it distributes power throughout the board for a steady ride, no matter how you set up your stance.
Base:
- Sintered, Stone Ground: Fast, durable, wax absorbent and easy to repair.
Additional Features:
- Slime Walls: A Ride exclusive, incorporating Urethane sidewall technology to absorb impact and make for a smoother ride. These are also the most durable sidewalls in snowboarding, meaning you can really thrash them, and they will hold their own.
- Roll In Construction: Fibreglass structures that surround the built in Slimewalls to increase durability, prevent top sheet chipping, and keep the weight down.
- Quadratic Sidecut:This sidecut maximises grip, control, improves turn initiation, and maintains speed in all conditions.
