Slash x Thumbs Happy Place Snowboard 2026

Thumbs returns with his second Slash collaboration, introducing the Slash x Thumbs #02 Happy Place Camber Edition. The UK-based illustrator grew up in his parents’ London snowboard shop, so snowboarding runs deep in his veins. His bold, energetic graphics bring serious personality to this board, making it a true standout.

A cambered true twin, the Happy Place Camber Edition is built for riders who already love the Happy Place but want to push their progression further. It’s a freestyle-oriented board that delivers all the playfulness you expect in the park while staying perfectly composed across the whole mountain.

That’s the feeling I wanted give the rider when I was designing this graphic. Have fun, stay loose and don’t take things too seriously. That’s the method I use for my art and I think that’s synonymous with snowboarding.” - Thumbs

Flex:

• Medium: A mid flex that offers all mountain versatility. Playful when you want it, and stable when you need it.

Profile:

• Camber: A tried and true camber profile that offers a precise feel, predictable turns, solid edge hold, suspension and powerful pop. Traditional camber distributes weight evenly and offers a progressive flex pattern.

Shape:

• True Twin: True Twin boards are constructed exactly the same from tip to tail for identical performance in both switch and regular.

• Progressive Sidecut: Progressive sidecut design blends many radii and smooth contact points for buttery smooth turn initiation, edge-to-edge transition and edge hold. It’s different for each model and matches the sidecut to the board’s specific camber profile.
  

Core: 

• Pop WoodCore: Arranged with premium strips of poplar for a lightweight and smooth flex with added beech hardwood stringers tip to tail through the inserts for power transfer and durability.

• Biax FiberGlass: Biax fiberglass is a two-way weave of fiberglass with strands running every 90-degrees. It’s more forgiving, easier to flex and highly versatile for all terrain types.

• CarbonBon: Pure carbon fiber slabs placed in a cross pattern under the inserts between the base and the core to enhance responsiveness, pop, torsional stiffness and amplify foot movement.

Base:

• Sintered Base 7500: Sintered quality base is fast, durable and requires less waxing.

• Diamond Stone Finish: Slash add a slight diamond-structured stone grind to the base to maximize glide and optimize durability. It eliminates the slow, suction cup feel that comes with one-dimensional base finishes.

Additional Features:

• Impact Dampening: A vibration dampening rubber used between the steel edge and the sidewall. Absorbs impacts only to a very small degree, its main purpose is to act as an adhesion layer between the edge and sidewall to prevent the possibility of delamination.

• Steel Edges: We build our edges with 35% more steel content than the average. They are simply stronger and more durable than the alternative.

• Factory Waxed: All Slash boards are factory waxed with OneBallJay wax and ready to shred straight out of the wrapper.
  

• Tip Protectors: Thin, light and surprisingly strong aluminum protectors that cap the base and edge at the tip and tail to protect the board from impacts.

• Kick Stand: Slash Original Identity shape saves material and weight and also stands up without tipping over like rounded boards do!
