The Rome Viper Pro is designed for riders ready to push their limits with a board that delivers precision, power, and control when conditions demand more. Its directional twin shape offers versatile performance with a more responsive and stable feel than a traditional twin, making it ideal for faster, more aggressive riding.
A stiffer flex paired with Carbon HotRods provides a locked-in, powerful feel through turns while still maintaining enough forgiveness to keep the ride enjoyable. Flex: 8/10 (1=soft, 10=stiff)
A mid-stiff flex provides the stability needed for higher-speed riding, along with strong edge hold during powerful carves and reliable support on larger features. It delivers a locked-in, confidence-inspiring feel with smooth damping through variable terrain, rewarding committed riders with control and precision when conditions get demanding.
Shape: Directional Twin
A directional twin snowboard combines a symmetrical outline with a slightly setback stance, blending freestyle versatility with directional stability. It rides comfortably in both regular and switch, while still offering a more natural feel and stronger performance in its preferred direction.
This design provides improved control across varied terrain, making it a great choice for riders who want park-friendly maneuverability without sacrificing confidence on all-mountain lines.
Fusion features positive camber through most of the running length, with a small amount of rocker just before the contact points. This design creates a versatile all-mountain freestyle feel that has the power and response of the majority positive camber zone, combined with a smoother overall feel and added rise in powder from the small dose of early rise.
Sidecut: Tri-Radial Sidecut
The Tri-Radial Sidecut blends three distinct radii into a single smooth curve, with wider radii at the nose and tail and a tighter radius between the bindings. This design promotes natural turn initiation, reduces the chance of edge hang-ups, and helps prevent oversteering. The result is a more controlled, predictable ride that feels smooth and intuitive through every phase of the turn.
Laminate: Triax Upper Glass, Biax Lower Glass, Single Carbon HotRod
Triaxial Fiberglass that runs in three different angles above the core for torsional rigidity and adds extra snap to the board.
Biaxial Fiberglass laid at two different angles below the core that offers a more torsionally playful board that is easier to press.
Carbon Hotrods are thin rods of carbon milled into the boards core, making the board responsive and powerfully snappy. This configuration inlays a rod in the centreline of the board in the nose and tail, maintaining a pressable yet poppy board personality.
Core: Pop Core
The Pop Core offers versatile and durable construction that is made of alternating 20mm wide Poplar and Paulownia wood strips.
Base: SinterStrong Base
A low maintenance sintered base that is extremely versatile and fast.
Additional Features:
Directional Diamond 3D: By having a wide, flat section in the middle of the board and then a 3D curve tapering past the contact points in the nose you get a stable ride while riding flat, turns easier, and disperses powder with ease.
Directional Double Kick: Double Kick offers an aggressive two-part rise in the tail. It’s designed for more pop, enhanced torsional stability, and smoother landings.
