The Ride Octave is a mid-flexing all-mountain boot built for comfort, control and a secure fit. The Zonal BOA® Fit System independently adjusts the upper and lower sections, while Ride’s Tongue Tied™ Hybrid Harness locks your heel firmly into place for excellent support with minimal heel lift.

A fully heat-mouldable Intuition™ liner delivers a comfortable, personalised fit, with the C.A.T. system allowing extra adjustment around the calf. Underfoot, the Flexlite 2.0 outsole provides reliable grip, while the +Slime Midsole absorbs vibration and adds cushioning.

Comfortable, responsive and easy to adjust, the Octave is a great all-mountain boot for riders looking for dependable performance and outstanding heel hold.

Lacing

  • BOA® Zonal Fit System: The dual-dial BOA® configuration delivers a micro-adjustable, multi-directional, zonal precision fit. The BOA® Fit System is engineered and guaranteed to perform in the toughest conditions.

  • BOA® Fit System Powered by H5: BOA®’s all-new H5 dial platform provides a micro-adjustable, multi-directional user experience that is engineered for precision fit through instant tightening or loosening on the fly.

Liner

  • BOA® Tongue Tied™: This RIDE specific technology offers a secure fit in the ankle zone and eliminates the need for a traditional harness. The tongue integrated BOA® guides provide total tongue closure and next level heel hold without the potential pressure points. Depending on the model, Tongue Tied™ is paired with traditional lace, BOA® Zonal, or BOA® Fit System.
  • Internal J Bars: Superior ankle and heel hold with added support.
  • External J Bars: Additional ankle and heel hold.
  • Intuition™ Support Foam Liner: Enhanced high-density foam offers supportive performance with maintained comfort.
  • Lace Lock: Just like it sounds, a way to lock your lace in place
  • Tongue Tied™ Hybrid Harness: integrates an additional upper harness for an ultra-secure fit.

Outsole

  • Flex Lite 2.0 Outsole: Improves impact absorption with +SLIME midsole, stability and traction is maintained flex by utilizing Rubber pods underfoot. Unique channels allow for improved performance freestyle feel. 
  • Fusion Rubber: RIDE’S rubber compound that utilizes up to 30% reground rubber to reduce the amount of virgin rubber going into the outsole and reduce our “footprint” on the environment.
  • +SLIME Midsole: RIDE’s proprietary PU and EVA foam blend improves comfort and response underfoot.

Insole

  • Impacto PRIMO Insole: Single density 3D formed insole with +slime foam. +slime hi-rebound foam is a proprietary foam blend that offers improved comfort and response underfoot.

Fit

  • In2Grated™ Construction: creates the lightest weight, shortest length performance boots on the market, hands down. The liner is factory molded inside the shell to create the most efficient "net fit", leading to less pack out for better overall comfort.
  • Articulating Upper Cuff: Better fit, better flex, no weird flex points. Nice and smooth, just like it should be.
  • 3D Formed Tongue: Anatomically shaped 3D tongue gives lasting fit and durability.
  • Removable Liner: The liner comes out of the boot. Dry 'em out and put on fresh boots the next day. 
  • C.A.T: Calf Adjustment Technology - Designed specifically to increase comfort and ensure a perfect fit. This Velcro adjustment on the boot cuff allows for a one-of-a-kind custom fit in the calf zone. Loosen or tighten up the calf of the boot for a truly custom fit.
