Built with a mellow yet responsive flex, Rome's Directional Diamond 3D nose and plenty of taper for responsiveness and float on deep days. Flex:
- 6/10 (1=soft, 10=stiff)
Profile:
- Free-the-Ride Camber: Designed for all-mountain prowess and float in the deep. Rockered in the nose, flat under the front foot, with a positive cambered tail.
Shape:
- Directional Diamond 3D: Designed to increase float in deep snow, improve handling in variable terrain, smooth turn initiation, reduce edge-catch and complement all-mountain riding in all senses.
Core:
- Pop Core: Rome's most versatile and durable core, built with alternating 20mm strips of poplar and paulownia.
- Directional Double: Two HotRods in the board's tail for medium to powerful responsiveness.
- Carbon HotRod: Thin rods of carbon that are milled into the boards core starting at the insert pack and extending into the nose and/or tail. Carbon HotRods are super responsive and powerfully snappy.
- Triax Glass (above core): Fiberglass running in three different axes, built for torsional rigidity and added snap.
- Biax Glass: 90 degree fibres that give the board a more mellow and torsionally playful feel.
Base:
- SinterStrong Base: The Sinterstrong base is the fastest sintered base, built for maximum speed and performance.
