Shape: Directional
A directional snowboard is designed to perform best when ridden forward, featuring a longer nose and a shorter, more compact tail. This shape enhances stability, control, and float in powder, making it a favourite for all-mountain and freeride riders. Directional boards excel at carving, charging through variable terrain, and maintaining confidence at speed, delivering a smooth and powerful ride whether you're exploring off-piste terrain or carving groomed runs.
Profile: Cam-Out Camber
Cam-Out Camber is essentially traditional positive camber with earlier, more gradual transition zones in the tip and tail. This creates a slightly lower camber profile through the center, delivering a playful, responsive ride with easier turn initiation and added forgiveness. It offers the benefits of camber performance with a more relaxed, less aggressive feel.
Core: Standard Core Profile + Powerlite
Standard Core Profile features a thicker center section running from the first insert to the last, gradually tapering toward the contact points. This construction enhances speed, stability, and edge control, delivering a strong and confident ride in all conditions.
PowerLite Core is crafted from the highest-grade ultra-lightweight poplar wood, delivering an ideal balance of strength and low weight. It provides exceptional pop, smooth response, and reliable durability without unnecessary bulk.
Sidecut: Dual Degressive Sidecut
A smaller radius sidecut in the centre along with two larger ones in the tip and tail make it feel loose, playful, and the most forgiving sidecut in the Nitro range.
Laminate: Bi-Lite Laminates
Bi-Lite Laminates have fibres running in two directions, providing strength, power, and a forgiving board feel.
Sidewall: ABS Sidewall
The ABS Sidewall is flexible and impact resistant so your board's core can stay protected from the elements and damage.
