Shape: Tapered Directional
A tapered directional snowboard features a shape where the tail is narrower than the nose, providing enhanced control and stability in deeper snow. This design improves floatation in powder and allows for smoother turns, making it ideal for freeride and backcountry riding. While it excels in one direction, the taper helps the board naturally guide you through challenging conditions.
CAPiTA's Alpine V3 Directional Profile combines the precision and power of traditional camber with enhanced control and versatility. Featuring a deeper camber section that gradually transitions to zero camber just before the contact points, this profile delivers exceptional edge hold, stability, and responsiveness. The subtle zero-camber zones improve handling and forgiveness without sacrificing the energetic feel and performance that riders expect from a classic cambered snowboard.
Sidecut: Progressive
Holysheet fiberglass uses high-strength, low-stretch fiberglass weaves to increase responsiveness and durability without adding weight. Combining tri-axial fiberglass above the core with bi-axial fiberglass below creates a balanced ride with enhanced strength, stability, and long-term performance.
The Magic Bean resin system is a plant-based formulation with high bio-content, designed for low-impact production with no waste or greenhouse emissions. It cures at lower temperatures while delivering excellent strength and durability, allowing for a thinner, lighter wood core that increases energy return and overall responsiveness.
Carbonflax is an advanced composite reinforcement that combines natural flax fibers with carbon strands to deliver exceptional snowboard performance. This innovative construction pairs the powerful response and energy return of carbon with the lightweight feel and natural vibration-dampening properties of flax. Topsheet: PLT Technology - Metallic Screen with Metallic Underlay
PLT Technology fuses the topsheet directly into the pressed board for a smooth, seamless finish with no visible fiberglass texture. It removes the need for extra lacquer, reducing weight and environmental impact.
CAPiTA combines advanced digital printing with hand screen printing to create vibrant, high-detail graphics. Using 16,000 inkjet nozzles and water-based UV inks, PAM16000 technology delivers exceptional print quality, while hand-screened elements add unique texture and depth to every topsheet.
Core: Panda Hover Core
CAPiTA's Panda Hover Core is an ultra lightweight, ultra responsive core made of Paulownia and Poplar and the addition of Bamboo Power Rods.
Hyperdrive ADV XT base is made with a premium sintered polyethylene material for the highest levels of anti-friction due to the high molecular mass of this base. This base is extra thick for enhanced durability.
Sublimated Base Graphics Use heat and pressure, sublimation embeds graphics directly into the base material for vibrant, long-lasting colours with exceptional depth and clarity.
