Our Subvert Boardstore is located inside the UK's largest indoor snow dome, The Snow Centre Manchester, giving you the opportunity to test a selection of the latest snowboards and bindings from some of the biggest brands in snowboarding before making your purchase.
Whether you're looking for your next snowboard or a new set of bindings, our Try Before You Buy demo service lets you get a proper feel for the equipment on snow, helping you make the right decision.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Our demo equipment is available seven days a week during store opening hours, and there's no need to book in advance. However, if you're travelling specifically to try a particular board or binding, we recommend giving us a call first to check availability.
A demo session costs £25, which is fully redeemable against the purchase of your new snowboard or bindings.
- Try before you buy: You can test each snowboard or binding setup for up to one hour at a time.
- Take your time: You don't have to complete all your demos in one visit. You're welcome to come back over a period of time, just remember to bring your original demo slip as proof of payment.
- Don't overdo it: We recommend trying no more than five boards. In our experience, this should be more than enough to help you find the right one without getting overwhelmed by too many options.
- Bring some ID: You'll need to bring a form of identification to leave with us while you're out testing equipment.
- Demo times: We stop issuing demo equipment one hour before the store closes, and all equipment must be returned at least 10 minutes before closing.
- You must purchase a valid slope lift pass!
